I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. But don't hold that against me, I got to Texas as fast as I could!
I went to the University of Nebraska for undergraduate and then to University of Nebraska Medical Center for Dental School. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in May of 1995 and began practicing here in Austin in July of 1995. I worked as an associate for another dentist for the first five years and then started my own business (Silver Screen Dental) in April of 2001.
I am a member of the Capital Area Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Texas Dental Association. In addition, I am a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology. I am a member of the American Orthodontic Society and I have been recognized nationally as a leading Invisalign provider. I enjoy taking continuing education courses as often as possible to keep up with improving materials and techniques.
I've been married to Michelle since 2000 and we have a five year old boy, Zachary and a six year old girl, Sydney. Michelle and I enjoy everything about raising them.
When I'm not spending time with my family, I enjoy a variety of athletic activities including wake boarding, golf, softball, volleyball, mountain biking or kayaking. The rest of the time I spend working on the house and the yard.
