I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. But don't hold that against me, I got to Texas as fast as I could!

I went to the University of Nebraska for undergraduate and then to University of Nebraska Medical Center for Dental School. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in May of 1995 and began practicing here in Austin in July of 1995. I worked as an associate for another dentist for the first five years and then started my own business (Silver Screen Dental) in April of 2001. In 2008, I built and moved into a new office space in the Jollyville Medical Professional Building. We have all enjoyed the extra room and the upgrade in equipment has made it easier to treat our patients in many ways.

I am a member of the Capital Area Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Texas Dental Association. In addition, I am a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology. I am a member of the American Orthodontic Society and I have been recognized nationally as a leading Invisalign provider. I enjoy taking continuing education courses as often as possible to keep up with improving materials and techniques.

I've been married to Michelle since 2000 and we have two children, Sydney born in 2002 and Zachary born in 2003. Michelle and I enjoy everything about raising them.

When I'm not spending time with my family, I enjoy a variety of athletic activities including wake boarding, golf, softball, volleyball, mountain biking or kayaking. The rest of the time I spend working on the house and the yard.
