Invisalign is an excellent alternative to conventional metal brackets and wires. It uses a series of clear trays that move the teeth incrementally. The process seems simple, but is actually very high tech.

It starts with an accurate impression taken by Dr. Booth. The impression is sent to the company with a prescription from Dr. Booth where the impression is scanned into digital data in the computer. From there, each tooth can be manipulated in virtual space guided by computer programming. All of the stage trays can be made prior to delivering the first tray. Each tray is worn for two weeks and the next tray picks up where the last one left off.

Premier Provider is a designation that belongs to a select group of Invisalign-certified Doctors who have achieved an exceptional level of Invisalign experience.

Dr. Steve Booth has been recognized as an Invisalign Premier Provider, placing him among the top percent of Invisalign practitioners in North America. Each year, Align Technology, Inc., the inventor of Invisalign, will award Premier Provider status to a select group of Invisalign practitioners in the U.S. and Canada. To qualify, doctors must demonstrate an exceptional level of Invisalign experience and meet Invisalign clinical education requirements.

An average Invisalign course of treatment takes about a year. You'll see your Invisalign Certified Orthodontist or Dentist every 6 to 8 weeks for adjustments and to check progress. At regular intervals, you'll receive a new set of custom-molded clear aligners to continue the straightening process. The total number of clear aligners is specific to you, determined by your doctor for your course of treatment.

Since Invisalign is practically invisible, there's no unwarranted attention to your mouth. In fact, very few people will notice at all - unless you tell them. They're comfortable to wear and remove easily when you eat, brush, and floss.
